HAVERHILL SAVES ENERGY
Haverhill Real Estate Guild
Up to 100% Incentives for Rental Properties
As our City grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, the City is launching the Haverhill Saves Energy program to help residents and property owners access thousands of dollars to upgrade their homes and buildings and reduce their energy bills - all at no-cost and with the option of not having anyone entering your building until it is safe.
Who can participate?
All buildings (in Haverhill and outside of the City) that have electricity or natural gas accounts with National Grid or Eversource (including those formerly Columbia Gas). This is an important opportunity for all of us to work together to ensure that Haverhill residents and property owners are receiving the full benefits of the statewide Mass Save® program, which is funded through an “energy efficiency” charge on your monthly utility bills and administered by your electric and natural gas providers.
How does it work?
The City is working with the 501(c)3 nonprofit All In Energy to connect residents living in buildings to no-cost home energy assessments and upgrades available through Mass Save®.
To start, we encourage you to request a No-Cost Home Energy Assessment. These energy assessments are provided by different vendors depending on the number of units in your building and the household income of the program The assessment is performed by a Mass Save® home performance contractor.
Regardless of your building type, No-Cost Home Energy Assessments can currently be scheduled as a virtual assessment over the phone or video chat, or as an in-person assessment with the energy advisor visiting your building. Either way, the assessment is provided at no-cost to you without any obligation
